Happy 4th of July, Everyone! I hope you have a wonderful day! Emil and I are going to drive up to Newport Beach and spend the day with a bunch of our friends. We are thinking of maybe doing a bit of barbecuing, but mainly working on our tans. Do you guys have any special plans for today?

Couldn't resist the temptation of showing off my newest find... I got this dress just a few days ago and simply can't get over how absolutely perfect it is! I love the combination of simple, easy-to-wear shape and pretty floral print with sheer detailing. I don't know about you guys, but I am definitely crushing on tee-like dresses at the moment:)

I love a fun skirt suit for Summer, and this one is definitely my favorite at the moment. Completely obsessed with the pale floral print and bright coral inserts. I had a Bailey44 event and dinner with my girls Kelly and Wendy, so I wanted to wear something that would look equally great for day-time cocktails and girls night out. Speaking of dinner, we decided to go to "Little Next Door" and I am so thankful to Wendy and Kelly for introducing me to this place and moroccan food in general! Everything was beyond delicious and I am still dreaming about their Creme Brûlée! So, definitely check it out if you get the chance!:)

Snapped these pics around a super cute breakfast place Emil and I like to go to. Used to be our Sunday spot, but lately we've been coming here a least 3 times a week. Sometimes more :) We are sort of obsessed with their coffee and desert selection. We have a soft spot for macaroons and theirs are especially amazing! 

I also love the area around the cafe, located on a super quiet street, I can never pass up an opportunity to browse through nearby vintage stores. Just last week, I found an amazing silver tray for my coffee table. I've been looking for a piece like that for months now, so I was over-the-moon excited once I finally found it!

EASY BREASY EYELET

Today's look is all about comfort. It's been so hot in LA lately, I find myself reaching for relaxed, breathy pieces like this eyelet top for example, which I decided to pair with cute denim tie dye shorts. Easily one of the prettiest tops I currently own, it's made from super light-weight & luxurious silk, which is why it's one of my current favorites. 

As tempting as it was to wear flats, instead, I opted to go with a pair of color-block wedges thanks to Randa, a wonderful brand from Japan, who just launched their international on-line store. For me, a good wedge is a great heel substitute, stylish yet comfortable! And I don't know about you guys, but color blocking still makes me weak at the knees:)

I completed this look with an oversized bag and a pair of aviators. Giant purses happen to be a particular weakness of mine. I just really like to carry everything with me, and yes, everything definitely includes 5 different lip glosses,  2 hair brushes, a hair spray, a few pairs of sunglasses, and a whole bunch of Emil's stuff. But it's a small price to pay to feel complete and ready for anything, right? :)
